The client is always in charge of the outcome.

I’m finding there are a few misconceptions about mindset coaching or life coaching. One of them is that a coach might push you out of your comfort zone or make you work hard to achieve your goal. But here’s the thing: The client is always in charge of the outcome. Always. The coach is only in charge of the process. The coach will guide the client through the various steps of the coaching session, based on what the client’s desired outcome is. The client decides the direction they want to move in, how fast they wish to reach their goal, what resources they will apply to the pursuit etc. Coaching is meant to empower the client to gain clarity on what they really want to pursue and how to pursue it. The client is always in charge of the outcome.
