Success is not an endpoint.

Success is not an endpoint. Success is being on the journey in the first place. The minute you have decided where you want to be heading and you take that first step towards it, you are successful.

Think of success as a place to come from, rather than a place to head to.

Even when (not if) you have a set-back, you are still successful, because you are still on the journey. It’s only when you give up on your journey that you become not successful. Not even when you decide to stop, that’s different, that’ll be when your priorities have changed or you have realized your values are not what you thought they were. Success is a journey and we should not withhold our excitement for it until the end. If you are truly excited about the goal, you will be excited about every step of the journey.
